The Queen's Diamond Jubilee
Diamond Jubilee emblem Barton will be celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee with fabulous festivites on the Recreation Ground on Monday 4 June 2012.
A more long lasting gift to the village will be an oak bus shelter to be erected on the triangle at Conkers. Follow 'more' to see the proposed.

12/10/11 Repair of Haslingfield Road bridge. Following lengthy negotiations work could start in November subject to consultations with the contractor and favourable weather conditions. It is hoped that most of the work can be done without closing the road.
